The most famous murder in the history of mankind

Famous people do not always die a natural death. Often they are dying at the hands of prudent political opponents or crazy fanatics. Here is a list of murders that shocked most of all mankind for the last two hundred years.

Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln, the 16th US president, was shot in the theater box April 14, 1865. He was 56 years old. The assassin, John Wilkes Booth, was a staunch Confederate and fiercely hated the president for his commitment to the freedom of black Americans. He has long followed the president, and 14 April, he finally had the opportune moment: during a performance of Lincoln guard went to a nearby saloon to wet his throat, and the president was left without protection. James Garfield

Robert Kennedy

Alexander Litvinenko

Alexander Litvinenko, a former security service officer, who fled from Russia to England, Georgi Markov became the present day. He died in November 2006 in a London hospital from acute poisoning with symptoms of radiation sickness.
