The beauty of the world of empty villages
• The beauty of empty villages of the world
If they are still waiting for their owners. Trim intact, although a bit lopsided door and only street overgrown with grass ... Philosopher's photo project about the forgotten rural houses from around the world.
XX century with its tall chimneys, monstrous skyscrapers and giant factories struck a resounding blow to the village way of life. People whose ancestors centuries plowed land and raise cattle, were forced to go to the city. There they had the chance to make money sitting on production in order to feed their families. Of course, active urbanization began in the XIX century, but the last century was much more decisive and cruel to the villages. It was then that a significant part of depopulated villages, and the city began to grow rapidly.
Today more and more popular it becomes a healthy lifestyle, active leisure in nature. The reverse effect: people tend to acquire real estate in the country, to be closer to the meadows and forests, which their ancestors once were forced to leave. Nevertheless, many villages around the world are still empty. In the photo: Mongolia © TimW
