More than 2,500 photos from 40 countries were presented at the competition Underwater Photographer of the Year 2015. The title of "Underwater photographer 2015" has received Portuguese photographer Nuno Sa for a snapshot of the seahorse. His works are regularly published in National Geographic, and dozens of other publications. "For me important is the dissemination of information on ocean life and the threats faced by many species, - says the winner. - 85% of species of seahorses are already extinct, and we still are caught every year 50 tons of these animals to keep them in aquariums. "
