Travel to the capital of Norway
• Travel to the capital of Norway
It's amazing how similar in the first oshuschenie were for me Stuttgart and Oslo. The birthplace of Mercedes Stuttgart as the capital of a rich German state of Baden-Württemberg, I imagined a large-scale built-up metropolis, and has been extremely modest and very hilly. And Oslo as the capital of Norway, representing large, densely built-up, and found himself in a rural nice and too hilly.
How does a city located on the northern coast jutting deep into the land of the Oslo Fjord, and why Norwegians are considered the most ski nation, and I will tell you in this post.

A winter morning in Oslo incredible picturesque and quiet. Deep purple and violet colors in the photos turned out only partially convey is actually still fabulous.

Here it is, the capital of the Vikings.

On the roof of the National Opera House.

The installation next to the opera.

at the Royal Palace View from the pedestrian street. It looks different severity of exquisite palace lines, so let it be just a "royal house".

urn.

The man and the bus.

Oslo - a port city.

It is considered one of the most expensive in the world. Prices are really decent.

Akershus Fortress in the city center. Its history begins in the thirteenth century.

One of the most powerful fortifications in Norway.

In the distance you can see the Holmenkollen Ski Jump (Holmenkollen).

In its place once housed the world's first ski jump. Interesting? Sure! We go there.

was built in 1892. Rebuilt 19 times:

Current record supplied by the Austrian ski jumper Andreas Kofler (German Andreas Kofler.) - 141 meters.

The magnificent building!

Inside, at the lower levels it is ski museum where you can see the first skis and follow their development.

You can get up and top!

To understand why Norwegians are considered ski nation just need to come to Norway and see how many people on the subway to go skiing and snowboarding in the direction of the mountains. A feeling that only the lazy weekend stays at home, everything sent to the fresh air (even pets). Children get up on skis if not slightly before beginning to speak.

Good for Norwegians! (This place comes to mind is the name of the indomitable super-exchange Ole Einar Bjørndalen (NOK. Ole Einar Bjørndalen).
