Primordial Kamchatka: Land bears
• Primordial Kamchatka: Land bears
For many of Kamchatka - it volcanoes, hot springs, and bears. Well, you can not argue with that, but there is another Kamchatka. The one in pristine attire to welcome its first guests, sailors, has revealed to us the glorious beauty of the earth with its marine life, amazingly beautiful coves and towering hills on the horizon.

The idea of traveling through Kamchatka, which will present the marine part of the way, ripe for a long time, but it was all about the right for our purposes the ship. And now, with the advent of the yacht "Orca" it has become possible to carry out a cherished journey.
The plan was to go along the east coast of Kamchatka, then rounded the Cape Lopatka, to reach the village of Black-headed, and then get to the Kuril Lake, and returning by the same route, to complete our journey visiting the Mutnovsky volcano.

The plan is quite feasible, however, it depends on factors such as the weather, which, as we know, the unpredictable plans for us. So, three days before the start of the trip in our plans to intervene rapidly to our shores looming typhoon Goni.
Our captain offered to organize us a tour on a yacht on Avacha bay, not to lose half a day of precious time, and the next morning to go to with. Lake land route to "vahtovke". Meanwhile, the "Orca" wait for the good weather and come after us in the sea, to the appointed time to meet and pick us up in the Lake District. Perfect option!!! And here, lost on the ship, we went sightseeing Avacha Bay.

What can be better when you stand under sail and feel the sea breeze! After the "brothers" we visited Kekura "Finger", where both on the podium showed their spontaneity and hospitality eagles, surprising us such a friendly response!

As for the Kamchatka dishes, there is nothing better than fresh salmon soup! Kamchatka soup tasted, well-fed and contented by this walk we returned to the city for the night. And for dinner the next day we have beheld the Sea of Okhotsk, with its constant winds.

The road headed to the village is not particularly noteworthy. On one side of you - the Sea of Okhotsk, and on the other - floodplain tundra.

The only entertainment on the way - three crossings, two of which are overcome by ferry, and the third - Ford.

In the evening we arrived at the destination, but hope to see standing alone in the sea volcano Alaid, washed off with the beginning downpour, which brought all the same typhoon Goni. Despite the fact that the typhoon periodically overtook us, we did not lose hope that in front of waiting for another pleasant surprises of nature.
Our route lay along a forest road along the river. Lake. Appeared on the horizon Famous Kuthiny Bata.

From the history of their occurrence it is known that under the influence of erosion over thousands of years, in a valley formed these obelisks of pumice, which is said to resemble giant vertical boat. Therefore, this area is known as Kuthiny Bata, which literally means "god boat Kutkh". According to local legend, these "boats" belong to God and creator of Kamchatka, which he used when he went on a fishing trip on the lake. Fishing!!! There is no better lesson in the Kuril for local residents, brown and clumsy! Already on the fence, we were greeted Bears, not surprised at our presence.

So we at Kuril Lake!

The first day we spent at the lookout tower near Hakytsin river where hobbies fished some bears. Fishing on this site is held in a non-stop mode. Even satiated, bears do it for fun and games, teaching their children and honing their skills right on the "eyes" of cameras such viewers like us. A spectacle is really exciting!

"And to me ?!"

"Losoooo uuus ... ...!"

"Easy! Now the catch. "

"All !!! Last! "

"The first catch."

What could be better for wildlife lovers than Medvedev to the Kuril! Only an unforgettable experience, captured good pictures! )))
The next day it was decided to take a walk to Sypuchki is 5 km up the river Hakytsyn. On the way, we counted about 53 bears. Although with the inspector of words in the passage of the peak of salmon, one can count more than a hundred fishermen!
"Fab Four ... and the salmon."

Sypuchka - a small mound of loose volcanic rocks, which washes away the river, and for this reason, its walls crumbling and periodically has the appropriate name. Place of peace! You sit yourself on a small shelf, and around the bears from small to large, enthusiastic about their favorite thing. Actually, as we are in the ... And most importantly - no one does not interfere with each other!

"Poteryashka."

Brown bears and salmon - are not the only inhabitants of the Kuril Lake. This is a place for such a meal with a view of the proud bird with white "epaulettes" - Steller's sea eagles.

"hearty and fairly."

Full of plenty of bear fishing, and generally observing life bears, our team went back in the lake, where we were expecting "Orca".
