The gasoline engine for a bicycle

The disadvantages become great noise and low power when driving uphill.
2. Engine (bicycle) "Comet". This ready-to-install kit for placement over the wheel to which the drive will be made. Usually it is put on the rear trunk, and accordingly, the rear wheel is still leading, but the variant and install the front. Such engines are ranging from one to two horsepower and can overclock the bike up to 50 km / h. Absolute advantage "Comet" is compact and able to quickly remove. But he was twice the price of the frame and the engine not "presentable" looks.

The electric motor has a number of significant advantages. He does not emit noise, has a great "pick-up", it does not require gasoline, and therefore harmless to the environment. The only, but a great disadvantage of any motor is the low battery capacity and the need to charge the clock. However, for a trip of 50 km they will suffice. For more distant biking, use a battery with a large capacity, and a dynamo driven pedal or one of the bicycle wheels. Of course, the electric motor for a bicycle - it is our future, but it will be present only when the batteries are invented with a sufficiently large capacity, or the ability to quickly charge.
