Rare feast complete without this fun - and a rare feast complete without incidents involving the danger of fireworks. Here are a few cases where the pursuit of beauty cost the lives of dozens of people.

Gift of Benton

In May 1983, an unlicensed factory producing illegal fireworks exploded on a farm located on the outskirts of Benton, Tennessee. The incident took place in an old barn Webb farm. At the site were killed instantly all 11 employees of this venture - and the neighbors for a long time wondered bright fireworks in the night sky.

The incident at Sivakasi

Fire on the pyrotechnic factory Sivakasi happened at noon. Villagers rushed to extinguish the fire, and then there was a second explosion - all 38 rescuers received injuries incompatible with life.

Fiesta with a twinkle

In March 2013 a truck with fireworks exploded during a religious procession in the countryside, in Tlaxcala, Mexico. One of the running of fireworks fell on the awning, under which dangerous goods have been hidden. 15 people were killed and another 154 injured varying degrees of severity.

Chinese collapse

Istanbul fireworks

Another incident that occurred at an illegal factory in Istanbul. The blast collapsed two floors of five-story building, burying about a hundred people.
